Christmas Afloat has become a holiday tradition for residents in Tuscaloosa and Northport and the lighted boat parade will return this Saturday, December 10th. 

The parade begins at 5 pm with a fireworks show occurring earlier in the evening. Spectators can expect the parade to last around two hours.

The parade will form up on the river at the Riverview Boat Landing area, just upriver from the Woolsey Finnell Bridge, and proceed downriver toward the University of Alabama and the downtown areas of Tuscaloosa and Northport.

Viewers can watch the parade and fireworks from the north or the south bank along the Tuscaloosa Riverwalk or the Northport Levee.

There is no admission charge for the parade or the fireworks show.
