The Tuscaloosa Police released more information regarding the arrests of three students involved videos that went viral on Sunday. 

The incident was captured from multiple cameras and showed police officers pulling two students out of an apartment after an argument ensued. One student was tased and beaten with a baton as multiple officers arrived on the scene.

Officers arrived to 500 block of Frank Thomas Avenue near campus after 2:00 AM and attempted to speak with the suspects before things escalated. Police have identified the students as:

Matthew Gimlin Macia, 22, of Johns Creek, Georgia. He was arrested on charges of obstructing governmental operations and resisting arrest.

Brandon James Williford, 21, of Tennesssee, He was arrested on charges of obstructing governmental operations, harassment and resisting arrest.

Caroline Elizabeth Giddis, 22, of Tennessee. She was arrested on charges of obstructing governmental operations and harassment.

Three officers were placed on administrative leave as an investigation begins into the circumstances surrounding the arrests. The names of those officers haven't been released at this time.
