The college football target rests squarely on Alabama's back. It has for nearly a decade now.

We're in an era of college football where one program controls the throne. Nick Saban's team has set the bar for the programs across the country, and it's become common to see fans use the Crimson Tide as the benchmark for greatness.

The latest example comes from one of the most tradition-rich programs in the country, Southern Cal. As the Trojans and Tide prepare for a season-opening showdown at the Advocare Classic in Arlington, Texas, this shirt showed up on shelves at the USC Bookstore.

USC fans apparently love the marginal creativity because the shirt is nearly sold out. The product page on the website only has small sizes available as of Thursday afternoon.

It remains to be seen which shade of red will be doing the sulking come September 3, but oddsmakers still have Alabama crimson as a 10.5-point favorite over USC cardinal.
