On the eve of Alabama’s A-Day game, veteran Tuscaloosa News sports writer Cecil Hurt entered Inside the Locker Room to offer his thoughts on Saturday’s A-Day game.

Hurt touched on the impact that the 2007 A-Day game had on Alabama and the SEC, maintaining national championship level success and the quarterback competition.

The veteran Tuscaloosa News sports writer detailed how Saban’s history of winning big positively affects the relationship between the players and coaches.

“The players see that if you do the things that coach says to do that you’re going to win, that it’s been successful.” Hurt said.

Inside the Locker Room airs each weekday from 7-9 AM on Tide 99.1 and the radioPup app.
