The Alabama running game might hasn't put up the numbers fans have become accustomed to but that's because the passing game has been lights out through six games.

Senior Damien Harris has only carried the ball 51 times but he's averaging more than seven yards per carry. He'll need a big second half of the season to reach 1,000 yards on the ground for the third straight year but it's far from out of the question.

Alabama as a team is averaging over 222 yards per game, which is still good for fourth in the conference. Even though it might not seem like the rushing attack has been dominant because it's being overshadowed by the passing game, that team average is still better than where Alabama finished in three of the past five seasons.

Earlier this week, Harris had a chance to meet with the media and talk about this offense's fast start. Check out what he had to say in the video at the top of the page.
