Alabama will face its toughest offense of the season when Ole Miss comes to town, and defensive back Anthony Averett shared his thoughts on facing the Rebels on Saturday.

The redshirt senior met with the media this week as the Crimson Tide prepares to face the top-ranked offense in the SEC with talented quarterback Shea Patterson.

"They air it out," Averett said. "They've been good with the pass for the last three or four years, as long as I've really been here. We always prepare for them in a different way because we know they're going to air it out."

That offense has caused some problems for Alabama in recent years and helped the Rebels win two of the past three meetings.

"They're definitely the team that always comes ready to play for it. I will say that as we have other rivals as well. Definitely Ole Miss, we definitely got to come ready to play regardless of what their record is, what our record is, it doesn't matter."
