A position that quietly went unnoticed over the past four season at Alabama was long snapper. When you're not talking about it, that's a credit to the player delivering the ball to the punter and holder.

Cole Mazza finished his Alabama career as one of the most consistent players on the roster during his time in Tuscaloosa, and the next man up will have big shoes to fill on special teams. One player that could take on that role in 2017 is signee Thomas Fletcher.

The IMG Academy long snapper was considered the best player at his position this year, and he's already enrolled at Alabama.

On National Signing Day, he was one of the players that met with the media to discuss the signing class and the transition to college.

You can hear everything he said in the video above.
