Alabama's first scrimmage of the spring wrapped on Saturday and head coach Nick Saban had some good things to say about his offense.

“I thought that the transition was pretty smooth on offense with the things that we were doing and the carryover from what we have done in the past as well as new things that we did, and I thought we were much more effective passing the football today,” Saban said. “There were a lot of big plays, a lot of explosive plays throwing the ball, especially play-action passes. I think all of the quarterbacks did a fairly good job, and they all got pretty good opportunities."

Prior to the start of the scrimmage, Ryan Fowler had a chance to watch the quarterbacks make throws during warm-ups.
