A dashcam video has been released that shows Ohio State quarterback J.T. Barrett's OVI arrest in the early morning hours of October 31.

TMZ Sports first acquired the police video, which shows the sophomore cooperating with officers but pleading to be released. Barrett tells them that he's the quarterback of Ohio State, but the officer shows no leniency.

As a result of the arrest, Barrett missed last week's game against Minnesota, was ordered to pay a $400 fine, and had his driver's license suspended for six months.

Head coach Urban Meyer said that Barrett will return to the lineup as the starting quarterback against Illinois on Saturday. He had taken over that spot from Cardale Jones after seven games but made just one start against Rutgers before the arrest. For the season, Barrett has completed 66% of his passes for 472 yards and seven touchdowns.
