The battle for the SEC West will once again take place on the first weekend of November as Alabama and LSU square off with a division lead on the line.

Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban started the week with his Monday press conference

"Obviously, this is a tremendous challenge for us to play what's arguably an undefeated team to me because they've been undefeated since their new coach Ed Orgeron took over," Saban said.

The Tigers have climbed all the way to No. 14 after dropping to as low as 35th in the AP poll after the 2-2 start, which sets up another high-profile matchup on Saturday night.

"There have been a lot of really good games against these two teams through years. It's kind of developed into a rivalry game of sorts because both have been ranked over the last eight or nine years and most of the time in the top 10."
