The newest chapter in the Alabama and LSU rivalry will once again have huge ramifications on the SEC West and the College Football Playoff picture.

Both teams are enjoying a bye week before a top 10 matchup inside Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa on November 7. The Southeastern Conference announced game times for week 10 and we now know that the Crimson Tide and the Tigers will kickoff at 7 PM/CT.

This will be the fourth night game of the year for Alabama and the third at home. The primetime kickoff will be the second game of a CBS Sports doubleheader that Saturday. Arkansas and Ole Miss will play in the weekly 2:30PM time slot.

This series has become one of the nation's most important over the past 10 years. Either Alabama or LSU has been ranked in the top 10 every year when these teams played since 2006. This year will mark the fifth time in six meetings that both programs are ranked in the top 10.

LSU sits atop the SEC West standings as the only undefeated team remaining, but Alabama only has one loss and could own the tiebreaker over the Tigers with a win on November 7.
