If you're not a huge runner but love to have a great time, the Insane Inflatable 5K is something you should check out when it comes to Tuscaloosa on April 2.

The event is in its third year and has quickly become one of the nation's most popular 5Ks. Last year it came to Tuscaloosa and more than 3,000 people came out to run, bounce, and slide.

Stuart Kaul from the Insane Inflatable 5K joined The Gary Harris Show on Thursday to preview the upcoming run, which will be held at the Tuscaloosa Regional Airport. The new venue will also provide new obstacles for runners to enjoy in year two.

"We're the fastest growing fun run in the nation," Kaul said. "I think we've struck a cord with people. Instead of making it competitive or dirty or wet or getting slime or foam thrown on you, it's purely all about the fun."

Registrations are already open and runners are encouraged to sign up before the next price increase on February 26. The event goes in waves so pick the time you want to participate and lock it in before it fills up.
