Deontay "The Bronze Bomber" has proclaimed on more than one occasion that 2013 would be his year, a chapter in which he would take the next step in the boxing ranks in his pursuit of becoming boxing's heavyweight champion of the world.

The Tuscaloosa native opened eyes becoming the the WBC Continental Americas Heavyweight champion in late 2012, however last Saturday he sent a wake-up call. The six-foot-seven inch chairman of the Bombsquad stepped into the ring with former Olympic Gold Medalist Audley Harrison, and left with a victory almost as quickly as he entered.

70 seconds-that's all it took. Less than a week later the 41-year-old Harrison announced his retirement.

"If people don't understand from seeing that--Audley did not win the prize fighting champion competition, the gold medal, and those championships for nothing." Wilder said. "He definitely can hold his own, but I'm just a bigger, better man that is in shape."

"I'm on a mission."

Now that mission includes trying to find the next opponent. However, as one of the most dominating up-and-comers in the world of Heavy Weight Boxing, Wilder is finding the question of "What's next?" is getting harder to answer.

"All of the people in England want me to fight (Tyson) Fury and I want to fight Fury. We made him an offer; he does so much talking, but his people turned the offer down, making up all kinds of excuses. But I understand, I wouldn't want to fight me either."

Yet, there still has to be someone who wants to step in the ring with the 2008 Olympic Bronze Medalist. There has to be someone who wants to try their luck against Wilder's 28-0 record (all by knockout), right?

"We may take the winner of the Thompson and Price fight" Wilder stated.
