WVUA 23’s Brandon Kammerman Recaps the Ben Davis Signing Ceremony [Audio]

Fans wondering about where some of college football’s next wave of potential stars find out today where those potential stars will be going to school.

One of those stars is from the shadows of Tuscaloosa in Gordo, Alabama’s Ben Davis.

The son of Alabama’s all-time leading career tackler Wayne Davis announced his decision to sign with Alabama.

WVUA 23’s Brandon Kammerman attended the signing ceremony at Gordo High School and shortly afterward appeared on the Gary Harris Show to describe the scene in Gordo.

“Not just quite a scene when it comes to the cheerleaders, the band and the people in attendance but his family. He had a lot of family members to join him, and it shows the strong support he has from his family in particular.”

Kammerman later detailed how Ben Davis kept silent on his decision until his signing day announcement.
