Say goodbye to unseasonably warm weather, because it's FINALLY starting to feel like winter outside!

The past week and a half has been crazy. We've endured tornadoes, flash floods, and more than our fair share of storms and rain--all while experiencing record-breaking high temperatures. It was 80 degrees in Tuscaloosa on Christmas Day. EIGHTY DEGREES. ON CHRISTMAS DAY.

Unreal.

My prayers have been answered. Winter weather is here. There isn't any snow or sleet in the forecast, and I don't care. I can finally turn off the air conditioner in my house. I can wear sweaters again. I can have a fire in my fireplace and drink hot lattes without breaking into a sweat the moment I set foot outdoors.

Better late than never, I suppose. Here's to winter in West Alabama!
