40 Week 1 College Football Point Spreads Released by Oddsmaker

Vegas already released some early point spreads for the first week of college football, and now the online betting company based in the UK, William Hill, has released their own point spreads for 40 games for the opening week.

After winning their 16th national championship, No. 1 Alabama is a 9.5-point favorite over USC on a neutral field at AT&T Stadium. While Auburn, who is coming off a disheartening 7-6 season, is an 8-point underdog to No. 2 Clemson the road favorite.

Right out the gate, one of the better games features Florida State and Ole Miss, and the Seminoles are a 6-point favorite over the 13th-ranked Rebels South Carolina, coming off a disappointing 3-9 season, might still have questions to answer facing Vanderbilt who is a 2.5-point favorite over the Gamecocks.

No. 22 UCLA has a good chance to pull a big road win against keep the No. 21 Texas A&M as the Aggies are only a 1-point favorite at Kyle Stadium. While right across the state in Austin, No. 8 Notre Dame holds a 4-point edge over Texas.
