Alabama has lost its third offensive assistant coach since the start of the year, and the latest comes just a few days before National Signing Day.

Wide receivers coach Billy Napier will become the offensive coordinator at Arizona State, according to multiple media outlets. He joins Lane Kiffin and Mario Cristobal as the third assistant to land a promotion off Nick Saban's staff. Kiffin became the head coach at Florida Atlantic while Mario Cristobal joined Oregon as the offensive coordinator.

Napier spent the past four seasons coaching some of the best receiving classes to come through Tuscaloosa. Prior to that, he was Jim McElwain's assistant head coach and quarterbacks coach at Colorado State in 2012. This will be Napier's second stint as an offensive coordinator after previously holding the same position under Dabo Swinney at Clemson in 2009 and 2010.

There hasn't been announcement from the University of Alabama about who will take over Napier's role on the staff.
