The University of Alabama has placed assistant strength and conditioning coach Corey Harris on administrative leave for providing impermissible benefits to safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, according to Aaron Suttles of The Tuscaloosa News.

Head coach Nick Saban announced the indefinite suspension for his starting safety during his press conference on Wednesday night.

The report states that Harris provided a loan of less than $500 that Clinton-Dix repaid already, which he showed through bank records provided to the University's compliance department. While investigating the loan, the University also found that Harris has a connection to a representative of a sports agent, but that "UA's internal investigation has found no indication that Clinton-Dix has had contact with any agent or agent representative."

Nick Saban doesn't have a scheduled appearance with the media tonight but will appear on his weekly radio show, which will air tonight at 7pm CT on Tide 99.1.
