The Alabama baseball team will play nine nationally televised games during the 2018 season, the league office announced on Monday afternoon. The Crimson Tide will be featured on SEC Network seven times while also appearing on ESPNU twice in 2018.

SEC Network will once again kick off conference play with its Bases Loaded coverage on Friday, March 16. Bases Loaded features every SEC team in a live compilation of all seven games on opening night of league competition, including Alabama and Georgia at 6 p.m. CT as part of the second time slot of the evening.

Alabama’s final two games of opening weekend against the Bulldogs will also air on SEC Network, with Saturday’s game set for a 1 p.m. CT start and Sunday’s series finale slated for a 2 p.m. CT first pitch.

The following weekend, Alabama will travel to Knoxville for a three-game set with Tennessee from March 23-25, with the final two games of the series airing on SEC Network. Game No. 2 of the weekend on March 24 features a 4 p.m. CT first pitch with Sunday’s series finale set to start at 2 p.m. CT.

The Crimson Tide will next be featured in its series opener in College Station against Texas A&M on Thursday, April 12. Game one of the three-game set with the Aggies will air live on ESPNU and is scheduled for an 8 p.m. CT first pitch.

Alabama will then move to the SEC Network for its middle game of the weekend series with in-state rival Auburn on Saturday, April 21, at 7 p.m. CT. The Tide’s second appearance of the season on ESPNU follows, as it will air the series finale against Mississippi State on Sunday, May 6. First pitch of the finale between the Crimson Tide and Bulldogs will be 3 p.m. CT.

The Crimson Tide’s final nationally televised game of the regular season comes on Saturday, May 12, when Alabama squares off with College World Series runner-up LSU at 7 p.m. CT on SEC Network.

This year’s schedule also includes seven television wildcard selections, allowing the SEC Network the opportunity to determine the best television matchup at a later date. The schedule closes out with the SEC Network airing the entirety of the 2018 SEC Baseball Tournament from May 22-26, outside of the Championship game on ESPN2 on May 27.
