After a failing to hire Gregg Marshall this offseason, The University of Alabama could have a chance to exact a little revenge on Wichita State. The draw for the Advocare Invitational (formerly Orlando Classic) has been released and the Crimson Tide is on the same side of the bracket as the Shockers.

According to CBS Sports, Avery Johnson's squad will open the tournament against Xavier on Thanksgiving night. Meanwhile, Wichita State will open against Southern Cal. The tournament will feature a winners' and losers' bracket so Alabama could potentially meet up with Gregg Marshall's team in the second round if things play out right.

Alabama AD Bill Battle made Marshall his number one target after Anthony Grant's dismissal, but Wichita State eventually locked him up with a seven-year deal worth close to $25 million. Less than a week later, Battle had hired Johnson.

For the Crimson Tide, this early-season tournament will give the team an opportunity to see where it stands against a quality field. That first round game will be played against a Xavier team that made an Elite 8 run in March. Wichita State returns one of the country's strongest backcourts in Fred VanVleet and Ron Baker.

On the other side of the bracket, Notre Dame, Dayton and Iowa are all potential NCAA Tournament teams in 2016.
