Alabama Basketball Podcast, Ep. 22: Alabama Fighting for Top 4 SEC Seed, NCAA Tourney Update, & Auburn Preview

The final two weeks of the college basketball regular season have arrived and Alabama has a lot at stake before the SEC Tournament.

After another 1-1 week and a tight loss at Kentucky, the Crimson Tide still sits in a tie for third in the conference and looks to be a near lock for the Big Dance in March. If the Tide can hang on to a top four finish in the SEC, then it will lock up a double-bye in the tournament.

To do so, Alabama would have to finish strong against a difficult schedule that features three teams currently in the top 25 of the RPI. It will be a challenge but this team has shown the ability to play with and beat anyone on its schedule. Next up will be a game with the Auburn Tigers with an opportunity to complete the season sweep against a team projected to earn a 2-seed in the NCAA Tournament.
