The first practice of fall is in the books for the Alabama Crimson Tide and center Ross Pierschbacher was one of the first players to meet with the media.

The Iowa native is set to take over for first-round NFL Draft pick Ryan Kelly along the offensive line this fall. Last year as a redshirt freshman, Pierschbacher started every game at left guard.
