Alabama Football Picks Up 3-Star Safety from Louisiana

Nick Saban added his eighth commitment for the class of 2016 when safety Joshua Perry announced on Twitter that he would attend Alabama.

The three-star prospect had offers from LSU and Ole Miss but chose the Crimson Tide.

Perry is the second Louisiana prospect in this class, joining athlete Shyheim Carter. Both players project as defensive backs in college.

Monday has been a busy recruiting day for Alabama, especially as it relates to Louisiana. About the same time Perry made his announcement, a huge 2018 offensive line prospect chose the Crimson Tide as well.
