The 2018 season officially gets going on Friday afternoon in Tuscaloosa as the defending national champions return to the practice field for the first day of fall camp.

Alabama will practice 20 times before the first game week of the season and it all starts with an afternoon practice today. Nick Saban and his staff will get its first look at the entire team after freshmen reported on Thursday. They'll get one practice under their belts before heading to Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday for Fan Day.

To get the day started, former Alabama fullback Martin Houston spent some time on his show talking about the start of fall camp and what he expects to see this month. Check out that conversation from 'The Blitz' and make sure you download the Tide 102.9 app to stay connected to the Crimson Tide throughout fall camp.
