Alabama five-star linebacker Mack Wilson will undergo his second surgery of 2016 after announcing on Twitter that he tore his meniscus.

The true freshman from Montgomery shared the news on Twitter before deleting the tweet shortly after. Not before some users had already grabbed a screenshot. Wilson also said he would have surgery to repair the meniscus and hoped for a quick recovery.

This surgery comes just months after the linebacker had surgery on a torn labrum he had been playing with since the 10th grade.

Wilson was part of the top-ranked recruiting class in 2016 and one of three five-star prospects that signed with the Crimson Tide in February.
