The Alabama gymnastics won the second annual Elevate The Stage meet, outscoring in-state rival Auburn 196.875-196.075 in the BJCC Legacy Arena. It was the Crimson Tide’s second win in just over 48 hours and its third meet in eight days.

Alabama opened with a season-best 49.200 on the uneven bars, led by junior Keely McNeer’s winning 9.875, and closed with a season-best 49.275 on the balance beam behind senior Lauren Beers’ winning 9.9. The Tide also posted 49.2s on the vault and floor exercise. Sophomore Mackenzie Brannan won the vault with a 9.875 while she, freshman Angelina Giancroce and junior Katie Bailey tied for first on the floor with matching 9.85s.

Competing in her first collegiate all-around, sophomore Kiana Winston picked up the win with a 39.375.

The Tide returns to action next Friday (Jan. 22) in Tuscaloosa against the Arkansas Razorbacks.
