Nick Saban's coaching staff at Alabama is adding another six years of head coaching experience to its well-oiled operation.

Two days after dismantling USC 52-6 to open the season, Saban announced that he was bringing on the Trojans' former head coach Steve Sarkisian as an offensive analyst.

"We talked about it quite a while ago and I told him we'd love to have him as a part of the organization," Saban said on Monday.

Sarkisian coached USC for a little more than a season before he was dismissed last October after dealing with issues away from the field. He went 12-6 during his short tenure and got his team up to No. 6 in the AP Top 25. Prior to his time in Los Angeles, Sarkisian spent five seasons as head coach of Washington.

The Crimson Tide coaching staff now includes former FBS head coaches Sarkisian, Lane Kiffin (Tennessee, USC), Mario Cristobal (Florida International), Bobby Williams (Michigan State), and Mike Locksley (New Mexico).
