Alabama Lands Pledge of Former Florida Commit, LB Christian Miller

Interview with Christian Miller from The Game (7-25-13)

Some prefer to make their announcement at a press conference, other via their personal websites, however 4 star linebacker Christian Miller declared his commitment to the University of Alabama via his Facebook page on Thursday. He is the 16th commitment for the 2014 signing class.

Derek Tyson of ESPN was the first to report the news shortly before 12pm central on Thursday that miller had posted a status on his personal account that reads “Officially committed to THE University of Alabama. Roll Tide.

Miller, a one-time Florida Gator commitment currently ranks 76th on the ESPN 300 and is a consensus four star prospect across all of the major recruiting websites. 24/7 Sports has him listed at 6-foot-4 and 222lbs, while timing a 4.74 forty yard dash time.  This fall he will be a senior at Spring Valley High School in Columbia, South Carolina.

The website also reports that he was recruited by Chris Rumph (Primary) and Lance Thompson (secondary).
