Alabama linebacker Tim Williams was arrested and charged with carrying a pistol without a permit early Thursday morning. 

According to TideSports, Williams was booked by the UAPD at 2:09 AM and released on a $300 bond.

Williams emerged as one of the Crimson Tide's top passing rushing threats during the 2015 national championship run. Through four games in 2016, the Louisiana native has tallied six tackles and 1.5 sacks on defense.
