The Alabama men’s basketball team defeated Baylor, 75-67, in a closed scrimmage game on Saturday morning on the Philips Arena practice floor.

Alabama had four players reach double figures, led by freshman Collin Sexton’s 15 points. Freshman Herb Jones scored 12 points off the bench, while sophomores Dazon Ingram and Braxton Key each added 10.

Baylor was led by Terry Maston’s 24 points off the bench.

The Tide outscored Baylor 42-24 over the final 20 minutes, connecting on 53.3 percent (16-of-30) from the field and 41.7 percent (5-of-12) from beyond the arc.

Following the full time scrimmage, the two teams played a five minute overtime which the Tide won 11-7. Baylor outscored Alabama, 24-22, over the final 15-minute period, which featured mainly reserves.
