Although football season is nearly here, basketball season will arrive before you know it. On Wednesday, Alabama released its non-conference schedule for the 2016-2017 men's season.

Second year Alabama head coach Avery Johnson looks to keep up the improvement of the program, and in the stretch before SEC play begins, the Tide will be tested a few times.

On November 15, Alabama's second regular season game, Avery Johnson's crew will play host to the Dayton Flyers, a team that could very well be in the preseason Top 25. Just six days later, they will travel to Las Vegas to play in the Men Who Speak Up Main Event to do battle with Ball State, Valparaiso and one of either BYU or St. Louis.

To begin the month of December, the Crimson Tide will also travel to Eugene, OR and Austin, TX to take on the Oregon Ducks and the Texas Longhorns on December 2 and 11, respectively. The Ducks will most likely be a top 10 team at this point in the season, and we all know how great of a coach Shaka Smart is and the Texas program will be better than it was last season.

You can check out the entire non-conference schedule below in a tweet the university sent out on Wednesday evening.
