Alabama softball will host four doubleheaders at Rhoads Stadium in October, giving fans an early look at the 2018 Crimson Tide roster in action.

Alabama opens fall play on Friday, Oct. 13 against Mobile College at 5 p.m. CT and continues two days later against Wallace-Hanceville on Sunday, Oct. 15 at 1:30 p.m. CT. On Friday, Oct. 20, the Tide hosts Shelton State at 5 p.m. CT and concludes its fall slate on Sunday, Oct. 22 against AUM at 1:30 p.m. CT.

Admission for fall games is $5 and will be sold at the gate. All proceeds from fall softball games benefit the Bama Softball Walk-Off Club, the official booster club for Alabama Softball. Fans who have not joined the club will have the opportunity to do so at the fall games.

The 2018 roster is led by six seniors: Rachel Bobo, Sydney Booker, Carrigan Fain, Peyton Grantham, Alexis Osorio and Demi Turner. Overall, the team returns 14 players from last season while adding six new faces to the roster, including junior college transfer Courtney Gettins and freshmen Kyra Lockhart, Maddie Morgan, Madison Preston, Kendall Beth Sides and Kaylee Tow.
