Alabama continued Wednesday to prepare for another scrimmage this weekend, the last before A-Day.  After practice, Coach Saban spoke with the media, follwed by OJ Howard and Brandon Ivory.  A few notes from the practice:

-Brandon Greene is battling Cam Robinson for the starting left tackle position.  Coaches have moved Leon Brown from tackle to guard to see how he develops.

-Howard's biggest obstacle to more playing time continues to be blocking.  He commented that the biggest difference between this spring and the last is that the team is playing "faster" this year.

-DE Dee Liner continues to improve, taking reps with the second string behind A'Shawn Robinson.

-Saban's praise for Derrick Henry continues, as he described the sophomore RB as having a "fabulous" spring so far.  Howard also commented on Henry, saying the two highly-touted 2013 recruits challenge each other to get better.

-Bo Davis was the defensive line coach when Brandon Ivory was a freshmen, and the senior DT expressed his happiness with the coach's return.

-Saban commented on Tosh Lupoi as well. According to Saban, Lupoi will be an intern and help with recruiting.  There are no issues between him and the NCAA.

-According to Saban, CB Eddie Jackson's knee surgery went well and the team hopes to have him back by the season.

-Saban continues to comment on the improved attitude of the team this spring over last year.  He said the team lost its identity as a tough, physical team last year.  Brandon Ivory added that the team lost its "focus on the mission".
