Alabama men's basketball has now lost two forwards from the Tide's Final Four run from just two weeks ago. Sam Walters, who was a 6-foot-10 piece of Alabama's rotation in 2023-2024, decided to leave the Alabama program just a couple of days ago. Now, a starter from Alabama's Final Four appearance has decided to move on as well.

Nick Pringle, a senior from Alabama's Final Four run, has decided to enter the transfer portal late on Tuesday night, according to On3 Sports.

Pringle is the latest member of the Crimson Tide to enter the transfer portal and the fifth scholarship player to enter the transfer portal. During the Tide's Final Four run, Pringle started 16 games and averaged 6.8 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 0.7 blocks per game. Pringle started his college career at Wofford before transferring to the Crimson Tide in 2022.

Pringle's transfer may not be as big of a shock to some Tide fans. Pringle was suspended twice during the regular season for violating team rules, per Nate Oats. Pringle was then punished again and was not allowed to fly with the team to Spokane, Washington for the first round of the NCAA Tournament, instead, having to fly by himself a day later to join the team.

Pringle's subtraction from the roster leaves Alabama with just four forwards on the roster, pending the draft decision of Grant Nelson. However, Pringle does open up a scholarship spot for the Crimson Tide, who have been linked to Aden Holloway from Auburn and Clifford Oumoruyi from Rutgers.

Tide 100.9 is keeping a running tracker of the Alabama Men's Basketball roster as we transition from the 2023-2024 season to the 2024-2025 season. You can keep track of the moves here.
