The Alabama women’s golf team will enter the 2018-19 season as the top-ranked program in the Golfweek Preseason Top 30. This marks the second season in a row the Crimson Tide women have opened as the magazine’s No. 1 team.

Joining Alabama in the top five are UCLA, Arkansas, Duke and Stanford, followed by USC, Arizona, Kent State, Washington and Texas to round out the top 10, respectively.

Five other SEC schools appear in the preseason rankings – No. 11 South Carolina, No. 12 Florida, No. 15 Auburn, No. 16 Vanderbilt and No. 27 Ole Miss.

Alabama will open the 2018-19 season at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate, Sept. 17-19, at the Royal Golf Club in Lake Elmo, Minn. In addition to the Tide, other top-30 teams scheduled to compete include UCLA, Arkansas, Duke, Stanford, USC, Texas and South Carolina.
