It seems that year in and year out, Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide are in the mix for the top recruiting class of the season, and the 2017 class is no different. Andrew Bone of TideSports.com joined Aaron Suttles on Monday to talk about the next crop of top-tier talent potentially making their way to Tuscaloosa.

When you talk about Alabama's class of '17, it's hard not to start off with Najee Harris, the top ranked running back in the class and now, according to Rivals.com, the top ranked player in the entire class. Suttles asked Bone about the star running back and what caused Rivals to move him up to the #1 spot.

"[He had a] tremendous summer, he shined at every camp he went to. Just more evaluations, and Rivals.com decided to move him all the way up to number one. He's certainly a tremendous prospect, and certainly one of the best running backs we have seen over the last several years."

Jerry Jeudy, a 2017 wide receiver prospect who was also just moved up to 5-star status by Rivals.com, is also an Alabama commitment. The 6'2", 175 lb receiver is one of the top receivers in the class of 2017, and his performances at elite camps over the summer was also the reason why he jumped up in the rankings just like with Harris.

"Jerry Jeudy was just awesome throughout the entire summer...  He was certainly a head-turner at a lot of the camps. And he was on the cusp of being a five star in the earlier rankings."

The Suttles Approach airs each weekday from 12-2 PM.
