The Alabama men's basketball team closes out their home schedule tomorrow night when they host the Ole Miss Rebels at Coleman Coliseum.  The Tide are coming off another disappointing loss to the Vanderbilt Commodores while the Rebels are trying to keep their NCAA Tournament hopes alive after two losses in a row.  The Tide will be without sophomore forward Shannon Hale, who will undergo surgery on his foot this Friday and be out for the remainder of the season

Hale has been one of the most versatile players for the Tide with his ability to play inside and shoot outside jumpers.  His absence puts more strain on Alabama's post game, which right now features just two legit big men in Jimmie Taylor and Michael Kessens.  Keeping these two out of foul trouble will be crucial if the the Tide wish to send their seniors out on a high note.

Speaking of the seniors, this will be the last home game for Levi Randolph, Rodney Cooper and Dakota Slaughter.  Slaughter's story, as you can hear from Coach Grant in the video below, is one of commitment and perseverance that inspires his teammates.  Randolph and Cooper have both scored over 1,000 points in their careers at the Capstone.  The Alabama natives played together in AAU and made the decision to continue that partnership in their home state's school.  Randolph also made history as being the first player in program history to be named an Academic All-American, a goal he set for himself the moment he arrived at Alabama.

Alabama vs Ole Miss is set to tip off tomorrow at 6:00 pm CT.  The game will be televised on the SEC Network, while you can listen to Crimson Tide Sports Network's broadcast on our sister station 95.3 FM.

You can hear Coach Grant, Randolph and Cooper in this video from their press conference earlier today:
