The Crimson Tide hit the practice fields early on Tuesday as the team will practice twice for the first time of fall camp.

The biggest story from the morning session was the absence of defensive lineman A'Shawn Robinson. He wasn't at practice and there's no word from Alabama as to why at this point. The sophomore is expected to be a key part of the defensive front in 2014 after recording 5.5 sacks a year ago.

While one defender was out, another returned to full speed. Linebacker Trey DePriest, who had been working in a black jersey due to a minor injury. He's expected to take over in the middle for All-American C.J. Mosley.

Today marked the first of four two-a-days during the month of August for Alabama. The team will be back on the field later this afternoon.
