As neutral site non-conference games slowly become the preference for some of the nation's elite college football programs, AT&T Stadium appears to be the go-to destination for these season openers. Auburn and Oregon became the two most recent high-profile college football teams to agree to participate in a future Advocare Classic, which is played at the home of the Dallas Cowboys.

The Tigers and Ducks will rematch the 2010 BCS National Championship Game on the opening weekend of the 2019 season. The matchup was announced on Tuesday and should be an offense-lovers dream.

But it's just another addition to long-line of premier college football games being played in North Texas to start the season. Here's what already on the schedule:

2015 - Alabama vs Wisconsin

2016 - Alabama vs Southern Cal

2017 - Florida vs Michigan

2018 - LSU vs Miami

And past Cowboys Classic games have pitted top-5 teams (LSU and Oregon in 2011), top-10 teams (Alabama and Michigan in 2012), along with defending champion Florida State last year.

With the news that Auburn and Oregon will occupy the 2019 slot, it's only a matter of time before Alabama announces its next matchup in 2020. According to AL.com, the Crimson Tide's contract for the 2016 game with USC includes the provision that it will "negotiate exclusively with ESPN in good faith through August 31, 2015 in an effort to schedule a football game between Alabama and a non-conference opponent to be held on August 31, 2019 or September 5, 2020 at the (AT&T) Stadium."

Since 2019 is now off the table, Alabama fans can all but pencil in Arlington for the start of 2020.
