Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton returned to Auburn earlier this semester to finish his college degree during the NFL offseason, which is a rare accomplishment for most athletes that leave school early.

When he news came out, the school told AL.com that he wanted to "focus on school and be a normal student," but it looks like his stardom won't be enough to ignore on campus. Last Friday, the Auburn Wesley Foundation showed up during class to serenade Newton and give him roses on the holiday.

The Heisman winning quarterback played at Auburn one season before heading to the NFL, but the foundation said it wanted to thank him for everything he's done for the school. Watch as the students sing 'What Makes You Beautiful' by One Direction.
