Barrett Jones joined The Game on Tuesday night to discuss the upcoming Iron Bowl. He, along with many more fans, is ready to watch the huge game this Saturday.

"Well, it’s an always an exciting week and I know the fans and players are glad it is finally here," Jones told host Ryan Fowler. "People have been talking about the past few weeks and I know they are ready to prepare for Alabama and Auburn."

The former All-American gave some insight into when planning began for Auburn when asked if preparation started prior to last week's Chattanooga game.

"I don’t think so, I really don’t. I mean, I am not saying the coaches have not looked at tape, but I certainly do not think they have been putting in any of the game plan before this weekend."

Jones has played in four Iron Bowls and he shared his final thoughts on how good Auburn is and if the Crimson Tide will take care of business.

"They are a really good football team. They have obviously surpassed really everybody’s expectations this year. It is good to see them playing hard and playing well again.

"I think if both teams play their best I think we are the better team. We have to show up and play our best game."
