Baseball Player Taken Out by Skydiver

From the 101st Airborne landing at Michigan Stadium or the US Army Golden Knights parachuting into BB&T Stadium, we've seen some pretty incredible pregame skydives  to kick off a sporting event. Unfortunately for one player, this skydiving attempt into a Prospect League game was much less grateful.

According to the comments in the video below, the second skydiver must have misjudged his landing a bit because he ends up slamming straight into one of the players on the field.

Romanin, who plays collegiate baseball at Chicago State University, ironically has a Twitter background that says "Keep Calm and Drop Bombs."  As you can tell from his subsequent tweets, he's recovered from the bomb dropped on him Saturday night.

Gotta appreciate the sense of humor from Romanin. It appears he's taken everything in stride.
