Last Monday, veteran Crimson Tide Sports Network basketball and baseball play-by-play voice Chris Stewart underwent emergency treatment days after returning from Alabama baseball's three-game series at Texas A&M.

Stewart has been a part of the baseball play-by-play team with CTSN since 1999, the play-by-play voice of Alabama basketball since the 2002-2003 season and the sideline reporter on football broadcasts for much of the Nick Saban era.

During Tuesday's edition of Inside the Locker Room, CTSN basketball color analyst Bryan Passink updated the status of Chris Stewart.

"He's back home, home from the hospital and he looks himself and sounds himself and just in recovery mode." Passink said.

The former Crimson Tide guard also provided a general timeline as to Stewart's return to the airwaves.

"Alabama fans are going to get Chris Stewart back probably sooner rather than later." Passink said.

Passink later shared how Collin Sexton reached out to the CTSN basketball and baseball play-by-play voice since Stewart's medical procedure.
