With SEC Media Days arriving, fans and media alike feel the sense that the football season is near.

In less than seven weeks, Alabama fans will find out whether sophomore Tua Tagovailoa or junior Jalen Hurts will start the season against Louisville in Orlando, Florida.

On Friday's edition of The Blitz, Martin Houston weighed the pluses and minuses regarding the profiles of both quarterbacks as potential starters.

The former Alabama fullback continued that discussion Monday with DC from Golden Shores Productions in their weekly "Capstone Report with DC" segment.

DC relayed the strengths and weaknesses of both signal callers as well as an old-school adage regarding three things that can happen when you pass the football.

Later in the segment, the Golden Shores Productions analyst looked at the linebacker situation following the departure of VanDarius Cowan and injury to Terrell Lewis.

With a heavier emphasis being placed on edge rushers defensively, DC sees a glaring impact relative to Alabama's game plan on defense.

"I think this impacts the game plan unless you can find some younger guys who are going to have to step up and fill this spot, the big void that Terrell Lewis leaves in the defense." DC said.

Concerning Lewis' replacements, DC listen several players including Anfernee Jennings, Christian Miller, Christopher Allen and Jarez Parks that could have an impact on defense this season.

The Blitz kicks off every Wednesday morning from 6-7 AM on Tide 102.9/100.9 and the Tide 102.9 app.
