As the spring semester comes to a conclusion at the University of Alabama, 10 NFL Draft selections from Alabama will prepare for life as a professional.

Quinnen Williams, Jonah Williams, Josh Jacobs, Irv Smith, Jr. and Damien Harris went in the first four rounds of the draft while Deionte Thompson, Ross Pierschbacher, Mack Wilson and Isaiah Buggs saw their names called over the draft’s final day.

Following last weekend’s NFL Draft, DC from Freelancepictures.com provided his thoughts of Alabama’s selections into the NFL Draft during his “Capstone Report with DC” portion of The Blitz.

“I think it was a really good draft overall. I think especially the first round guys are really good for them. I do think a couple of Alabama players fell down the draft board.” DC said.

Later in the segment, the Alabama football observer examined the reasons for Mack Wilson’s fifth round selection, how Nick Saban’s message in the spring about juniors entering the draft too early could help the program down the road and the dynamic of Dabo Swinney and Nick Saban at top of the college football coaching mountain.
