During one of Tuscaloosa's darkest hours, a member of the 2011 Alabama Crimson Tide football team suffered a personal tragedy.

Crimson Tide long snapper Carson Tinker lost his girlfriend Ashley Harrison during the April 27 tornado that devastated much of Alabama including Tuscaloosa.

Tinker finished his career at Alabama in 2012 and later signed as an undrafted free agent with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2013. The Decatur, Alabama will enter his sixth season as a member of the Jaguars.

Earlier in the month, Tinker had an opportunity to take two members of Lynyrd Skynyrd on a tour of TIAA Bank Field and have a jam session with the duo

On Tuesday's edition of The Gary Harris Show, the former Crimson Tide long snapper reflected on his recent jam session with Lynyrd Skynyrd.

"It was super cool. Anything that you can imagine how I felt, I mean that's how I felt." Tinker said.

In recounting the experience with Lynyrd Synyrd's Rickey Medlocke and Johnyy Van Zant, Tinker talked about his past musical experience as a student at the University of Alabama and some of the band's famous songs that he like to play.

The Jacksonville Jaguars long snapper went on to discuss his chances at regaining his starting position coming off injury, his memories of the April 27 tornado and the following national championship season in 2011.
