Cecil Hurt Discusses the 2019 NFL Draft, Kentucky Derby, and much more

After receiving the Mel Allen Media Award by the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame over the weekend,  Cecil Hurt of The Tuscaloosa News joined Host of "Southern Fried Sports" Travis Reier Tuesday morning to recap the 2019 NFL Draft, look ahead to the Kentucky Derby and talk some Alabama football.

"I think if you listen to the full context of what Nick Saban said and replied to my innocent question," Hurt told Reier. "He was right, and I think people knew at the time, certainly the people who took the time to listen to his entire four and a half minute answer and not a thirty second sound byte."

"Don't know what the conditions will be," Hurt told Reier about the Kentucky Derby. "That is always a factor, as far as knowing somebody. In the famous words of Kramer, 'Whether their motor's a motor" I don't know."
