Cecil Hurt Talks SEC Football Heading Into Final Weekend of October

Thursday morning Cecil Hurt, columnist for The Tuscaloosa News, joined Host of Southern Fried Sports Travis Reier to talk Tom Petty, college football and assess the Georgia-Florida match up coming up this weekend.

Before diving into the SEC game of the week, Reier and Hurt discussed the billboards that have been put up by the LSU fan base around Alabama, specifically around the SEC headquarters in Birmingham.

"I think some of it has to do with Nick Saban being LSU's former head coach," Hurt said. "There's no rebound to the topic. Alabama and Auburn fans can bicker, you let off steam that way.

Hurt continued by adding, "LSU is just down there and it's like putting the lid on the gumbo, man they are just down there stewing."
