Veteran Tuscaloosa News sports writer Cecil Hurt strolled Inside the Locker Room to review the latest details in the case involving Alabama football players Cam Robinson and Hootie Jones.

Hurt gave an outline of what lies ahead for Robinson and Jones relative to their legal status in Louisiana and how Saban will deal with the two players from a punishment standpoint.

The veteran Alabama football observer thinks that the short term outlook for Robinson and Jones is favorable for returning to campus for summer school.

“As far as I know, they’re innocent until proven guilty. It’s not a kind of charge that will keep them off. Now there are various ramifications in the code of student conduct, but I think at this point they’ll be allowed back on campus.” Hurt said.
