When Jalen Hurts was benched during the national championship game, he could have decided then and there he was going to transfer to another school. While Tua Tagovailoa was sitting there in the first half he could have did the same.

Both quarterbacks decided to stay at Alabama and not only compete for the starting job as the quarterback for the Crimson Tide, but the two share a bond to help each other on and off the fields as some critics and fans try to divide the two.

Both Tua and Jalen were counselors at the Elite 11 down in California and both Alabama quarterbacks shared their wisdom on the field and how to conduct themselves off of the field.

College football writer for The Athletic Bruce Feldman joined The Game with Ryan Fowler to discuss his article on what Jalen Hurts and Tua Tagovailoa told the players at the Elite 11, how Hurts handled being benched during the national championship game, and the biggest question heading into the 2018 season.
